CYGNUS, Inc. is a small business located in the panhandle of North Idaho,
which manufactures high quality sheet metal parts and assemblies for the aerospace
industry.
Since our inception, CYGNUS was developed as a corporation based on a Code
of Ethics, which stresses trust building teamwork, continuous business
improvement, total quality, dedication to detail accuracy, and financial conservatism.
Molding these fundamental beliefs into our organization has propelled CYGNUS
to be a leader in our industry with historically measured Quality and Delivery
statistics achieving an overall rating of 99.9%.
CYGNUS has been recognized by our customers for our high quality and has received
several quality approvals and awards. This level
of expected performance has allowed CYGNUS to ship directly to stock to all
of our major prime customers.
We deliver over 180,000 parts annually, flying on a majority of the aircraft
manufactured in the US, both military and commercial, along with various missile
programs.
Typical parts we manufacture include aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium
parts up to 10 feet in length, such as brackets, panels, angles, clips, doublers,
enclosures, etc.; larger more complex parts with joggles and formed lightening
holes such as intercostals and webs, and assemblies which have included up
to 30 component parts in total.
