Boeing Certifies Anodize Line

March 8, 2000 Ponderay, ID. - Representatives from Boeing, today gave final approval to the new Anodize Processing line at Cygnus Inc.'s Ponderay Idaho facility. The anodize processing passed inspection the first time through with no errors. This Certification will allow Cygnus, Inc. to anodize parts in-house, dramatically reducing lead times and providing the ability to maintain tighter quality control.

"We monitor our process to achieve a higher standard of quality than our competitors," commented Virgil Forker, Engineering Manager.

Cygnus, Inc. plans to have heat-treat in place by the third quarter of this year, enabling them to provide even more in house service at lower cost. Cygnus, Inc. is making rapid strides toward being a single-source supplier, creating an environment of increased quality, shorter lead times and overall lower costs.
