Cygnus, Inc., presented with Subcontractor of the Year award.

August 8, 2000 Ponderay, ID. - The US Small Business Administration recognized Cygnus as the 2000 Region X Subcontractor of the Year during an awards ceremony today at Cygnus' Ponderay, ID facility.

Opening remarks were made by James Hutchens, Industrial Specialist U.S. Small Business Administration, Office of Government Contracting, seattle, WA, followed by a presentation overview by Kevin L. Michael, U.S. SBA Commercial Market Representative for Government Contracting - Seattle, WA.

Gail Ettleson of Northrop Grumman Corporation, Hawthorne, CA., the nominating party, gave a short address to those present commenting on Northrop's satisfaction with Cygnus.

U.S. Senator Mike Crapo addressed the gathering of Cygnus employees, then made the official presentation of the award to company president, Dr. Jack Ambrosiani, and his wife, Mary.
