Boeing Honors Cygnus, Inc. For Participation in C-17 Program.

April 16, 2002 Ponderay, ID. - Representatives from Boeing's Long Beach, CA. facility presented Cygnus, Inc with an award for their participation in the C-17 Program as part of a year-long celebration marking the delivery of the 100th C-17 aircraft to the USAF, scheduled this fall.

Boeing C-17 Supplies and Materials Management General Manager, Mark DeVoss, addressed the assembly of Cygnus employees, family members, and representatives from the USAF, Federal, State, and Local government, expressing the importance of the success of the C-17 program and Cygnus' role as one of it's Top 25 Parts Suppliers. Devoss, along with Boeing's Patricia Pelc, Bob Petrillo and Chuck Agne, presented Cygnus President Dr. Jack Ambrosiani and employee representative Larry Cheney with a plaque and commemorative banner.

Following DeVoss' presentation, remarks were given by Maj. Roger Westermeyer of Fairchild Air Force Base regarding the importance of the C-17 to the military. He also expressed the satisfaction that Air Force pilots have with the C-17. Members of state and local government shared words of congratulations and a representative from U.S. Senator Larry Craig's office presented Cygnus with a letter which was read into the Congressional Record by Senator Craig, honoring Cygnus Inc.'s involvement in the C-17 Program.

Employees of Cygnus, Inc. were asked to sign a commemorative banner, bearing the Company's logo, which will be displayed in the main hangar at Boeing's Long Beach, Ca. facility. A brief reception followed.
