

CYGNUS is located
in Ponderay, Idaho just outside Sandpoint Idaho, approximately 45
miles north of Coeur D' Alene, Idaho, and 60 miles south of the Canadian
border. Located in the scenic panhandle of Idaho, Sandpoint has a lot to
offer anyone visiting or looking for a place to relocate.
Sandpoint is home to approximately 6,000 residents, is the county seat of
Bonner County and is situated on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille at an elevation
of just over 2,000 feet. Moderate winters and warm, sunny summers, offer
residents and visitors an ever-changing kaleidoscope of four-season living.Sandpoint
is nestled between two major, majestic mountain ranges, the Cabinet Mountain range, 
and the
Selkirk range, located at the Southern end of the Canadian Rockies. The Selkirks offer campers,

The Cabinet Mountains to the East offer wildlife and wilderness area users
a wide array of natural beauty. Moose, deer, elk, cougar and bear are but
a few of the animals one might see. The Selkirk range is home to the last
remaining herd of Woodland Caribou in the lower 48 states. Schweitzer
Mountain
offers world class skiing and breathtaking views of the valley floor and
the big lake.
Hidden Lakes Golf Resort is one of the Pacific Northwest's most scenic and challenging golf courses. Lake Pend Oreille is the centerpiece for fishing and water sports for Bonner County. The pristine blue waters of the lake hold some of the finest trophy fishing in the world.
With miles of undeveloped, secluded bays and shorelines there is a seemingly
endless array of camping, boating and lake related adventures.There
are numerous marinas, public campgrounds, resorts, and fine dining all around
the lake. The city beach in Sandpoint offers acres of clean water and sandy
beaches, volleyball, tennis, basketball and plenty of green grass to enjoy
a family picnic.
